He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Franklin and Harriette Etta Lee Chambless; his wife Geraldine Logue Chambless; his granddaughter Kimberly Dawn Chambless; his brother David Chambless; and his brother-in-law Donald Ruffin.
He is survived by: his son Craig Chambless (Lisa) of Pelham; his granddaughters, Allison Chambless Rowland (Paul) of Alpharetta and Anna Chambless Gray (Blake) of Camilla; his great grandchildren, Emerson Rowland and Lawson Gray; his siblings, Henry Chambless (Sue) and Jeanette Ruffin; and his sister-in-law Kathryn Chambless.
