With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Ira Smith III of Camilla, Georgia, born in Ocala, Florida, who passed away on September 15, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ira Smith, Jr. and Verna Ward Smith; and his brothers, John Driggers and Huland Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Sue Strickland Smith of Camilla; his daughters, Nancy Dearborn (Nathan) of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Kristy Weakland (Jason) of Doerun; his grandson Joseph Roy Weakland; and his cousins, Ed McMinn (Slynn), Lynn Campbell (Bryant) and Virginia McGrath.
