He is survived by: his wife Linda Mitchell Morgan; his children, Dr. Joe Harris Morgan (Tripp) and Dr. Elizabeth Morgan Millsaps (Patrick); and his grandchildren, Mary Brice, Joe, Ellie, Marjorie Morgan, Morgan, Alison and Kendall Millsaps.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan Residence (1000 Flowing Well Rd, Albany, GA 31721). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (212 N Jefferson St, Albany, GA 31701). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oakview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harris' honor to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 212 North Jefferson Street, Albany, GA 31701.
