With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Hideko Kokuba Morris of Camilla, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chotoku Kokuba and Chiyoko Kokuba; her spouse Marion Augustus Morris; her brother Hideyoshi Kokuba; and her mother-in-law Kitty Hughes of Camilla.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Morris Pearson (Jimmy) of Thomasville, Thomas Morris (Michelle) of Asheville, NC, Lisa Marie Morris Taylor (Perry) of Camilla and Phillip Morris (Mary Beth) of Camilla; her siblings, Hiroshi Kokuba (Keiko), Sachiko Tamazato of Okinawa, Japan and Midori Uema (Yoshitaka) of Okinawa, Japan; and her grandchildren, Augusta Treadway (Miles), Alexis Edenfield (Nicholas), Cecilia Mitchell (Micheal), Christina Morris, Heather Wilson (Justin), Megan Cauley (Jay), Hichin Morris, Yoshi Morris, Myles Foister (Maggie Jo), Zachary Taylor (Porchia), Payne Morris and Peyton Morris. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home (410 E Broad St, Camilla, GA 31730).
