He is survived by: his children, Latonya Blasingame (Anthony) of Warner Robins, Georgia and Devin Jackson of Camilla, Georgia; his mother Mary Toombs Geter of Camilla, Georgia; his grandson Damien Blasingame of Warner Robins, Georgia; his siblings, Shirley Mobley (Roman), Alice Quimbly of Augusta, Bonnie Odoms (Starley), Angela Toombs of Albany, Mary Morman, Lucille Toombs Hill of Camilla, Georgia, Eddie Toombs (Gwen), Adolph Toombs of Camilla, Forrest Toombs (Sonya) of Vancouver and John Toombs, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his aunts, Louise Toombs Silbley of Albany, Claretha Toombs Keaton of Houston and Artie Toombs Davis of Camilla, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
