“My Memories of Frances go back as far as any memories I have. When we went to Grandpa's, she was always there, cooking, cleaning and being a loving caretaker for Grandpa. I remember when Buster married her and I was sad because Frances was no longer at Grandpas when we visited. Frances loved all her extended family and she and Buster for years came to Bainbridge on the second Sunday in October early in the day to secure picnic tables for the Avery Family Reunion. A year was never missed and descendants of Daniel Thomas Avery, Families, and Friends attended, sometimes as many as a hundred. When she and Buster could no longer make the effort, she told some of us that, thought the will was there, Buster could no longer make the effort. The tradition they kept alive has only missed one year (2018) and that was due to Hurricane Michael. Frances was loved and will be greatly missed by her extended family.”
