He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Whaley and Elizabeth Barber Whaley; his wife Patricia Whaley; and his siblings, J. E. Whaley, Charles Whaley, Clara Taylor and Ruth Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Foy Whaley, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL and Scott Whaley of St. Petersburg, FL; and his sister Yvonne McCook (Lazelle) of Camilla. He is also survived by several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
