He was predeceased by: his parents, Farna Wheat Dorsey and Ocie Ree Baron Dorsey; his former wife Janice Kearns Dorsey; and also Alma Duane Fulford Dorsey. He is survived by: his children, Beth Dorsey Powell (Dave) of Rome and Kelly Dorsey of LaGrange; his brother Bobby Don Dorsey (Pauline) of Camilla; his grandchildren, Tarin Powell Brunni (Richard) and Hunter Kennison; and his great grandchild John Brunni. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (831 Cairo Rd, Camilla, GA 31730). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
