Emmie Louise Lewis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2020, at the age of 97, Emmie Louise Lewis of Camilla, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bright Hays and Ethel Bullard Hays; her husband George Davis Lewis, Sr.; her son Davis "Fug" Lewis, Jr.; her siblings, Walter Donald Hays, Margaret Hays Maynard and Ellen Hays Parker; her daughter-in-law Janice Coats Lewis; and her grandchildren, Hays Lewis and Erin Lewis.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Bryant (Al) of Cordele, Scott Lewis (Vickie) of Hopeful and Joe Lewis (Tami) of Hopeful; her daughter-in-law Ann Campbell Lewis of Blakely; and her grandchildren, Stephen Lewis, Anna Lewis Mathis, Katy Cole Hagerson (Chris), Jenny Bryant Strange (Josh), Leah Lewis Sparkman (Neil), Amy Lewis Cowart (Zack), Joseph Lewis (Josi) and Emili Lewis Harrell (Cory). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
