We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2022, at the age of 69, Dorothy Jean Woody of Camilla, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jones and Verdie Hill Jones; and her brother Jimmy Jones. She is survived by: her husband Ken Woody of Camilla; her children, Travis Woody (Jessica) of Warwick and Samantha Knight (Derek) of Thomasville; her siblings, Joe Jones of Atlanta and BettyAnn Wiley of Florida; her grandchildren, Daylee, Ashlynn, Isabelle Woody, Khloe and Duke Knight; and her siblings-in-law, Tammi Alvis (Wesley) of Moultrie and Lee Woody (Trina) of Atlanta. She is also survived by several cousins, a nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local Humane Society, an organization she felt strongly about.
