She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend George Wheeler and Flora Lee Wheeler; her husband Lenard Denison, Jr.; her son Lenard Denison, III; and her siblings, Annie Grace Gorham, Joseph Lee Wheeler and George Wheeler, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Davis and Shirley Jackson (Donald) of Camilla, Georgia; her siblings, Agnes Ross of Cairo, Gloria Wheeler of Pelham, Georgia and James Wheeler (Lonnie) of Pelham, Georgia; her sister-in-law Rosa Lee Parker (Henry) of Thomasville, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Buffy Holton, Derrick Davis, Donald Jackson, Jr., Keith Jackson, Eric Denison, Shanderika Matthews and Lenard Denison, IV. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
