He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Shores and Betty Fuller Shores. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Nicklas Shores; his sons, Tommy Shores of Somerset, David Shores, Jr. of Somerset, Cody Shores of Jacksonville and Hunter Shores of Somerset; his sister Diana Shores of Jacksonville; and his granddaughter Lyla Baker of Wilmore. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
