He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Lafayette Eidson and Billie Merle Sellers Eidson; and his sisters, Terry Daniels, Janice Sanders, Dianne Wiley and Sherry Benton.
He is survived by: his children, Drew Eidson of Tallahassee, FL, David Eidson, Jr. of Longview, TX and Aaron Parrish of Colquitt, GA; his grandchildren, Savannah Fleming, Sierra Fleming, Emily Eidson, David Eidson, III and Devin Eidson; his siblings, Joe Eidson of Thomasville, GA, Willie Eidson of Longview, TX, Nora Bush of Ochlocknee, GA, Cynthia Eidson of Thomasville, GA and Lucy Rhymes of Ochlocknee, GA; and his friend Hellen Eidson of Longview, TX.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and the mother of his first two children.
