He is survived by: his wife Betty Johnson Griner of Camilla; his children, Holly Layton (Chester) of Pelham and Lynwood Griner of Camilla; his granddaughter Claire Layton; and his siblings, Maryline Smith of Thomasville, Dr. Ava Griner of Rocky Face and Ivey W. Griner, Sr. of Camilla. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
