It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arcieola Whitfield (Camilla, Georgia), who passed away on August 16, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Reverend Elmore Gilbert and Arcieola Prince Gilbert; her daughter Earnestine Williams; her great grandchild Shedrick King, Jr.; her siblings, Odessa Brown, Evelyn Covington, Mildred Ward, Novella Nixon, Ollie Mae Carr, Elmore Gilbert Jr. and Oliver Gene Gilbert; and her children, Bettye Crawford of Pensacola, Annie Ruth Gilbert Brinner (Jessie) of Pelham, Artie C Whitfield of Camilla, Jacqueline Ross (Jackie) of Camilla, Janice Robinson of Camilla, Veronice Gilbert of Warner Robins, Freddie Thomas (Shirletta) of Gainsville and Charles E. Gilbert (Teresa) of Pelham. She was also cherished by twenty-three grandchildren; fifty-six great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
