He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; and his daughter Katherine Bertino. He is survived by: his children, John Jr. (Jennifer), Mike (Rosemary), Thomas (Ernie), Rich (Heather) and Maria Bertino; and his sister Madeline Harris. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
