He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Junior Barfield and Katie Bell Alexander Barfield. He is survived by: his daughters, Kitty Faye Couch (Jesse) and Angela Lowrean Edwards (Robert); his grandchildren, Ariel Bree Couch, Jazmine Lowrean Couch, Austin Zane Barfield, Timothy Michael VanDyke, Jessica Faye VanDyke and Avery Oneal Grant; and his sister Nora Susie Smith.
A reception was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home (705 Old Red Bud Rd, Calhoun, GA 30701).
