With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie Yvonne Shields White (Calhoun, Georgia), who passed away on March 2, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Jack White (Pat); her parents, James Carter and Essie Mae Shields (Boyd); and her sisters, Dimple Ross, Bernice Hicks and Juanita Childers.
She is survived by: her husband Boyd White; her daughter Letha Nesbitt (Terry); her grandchildren, Wendi Murphy (Joel), Cindy Butler (Mark), Lisa Taylor, Greg Nesbitt (Karen) and Jim White (Angela); and her great grandchildren, Andrew Nesbitt, Harrison, Hayden Murphy (Caitlin), David Butler, Jim and Ben Traylor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers gifts can be given to the Oostanaula Baptist Church where she was the oldest member.
