He was predeceased by: his parents, David Nicholson and Evelyn Dollar Nicholson; his son Timothy Brian Nicholson; his brother Gerron Nicholson; and his grandson Blake Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Potts Nicholson; his children, Laura Bennett (Dwayne) and Matt Nicholson (Christy); his sister Elinda Hicks; his grandchildren, Adam Bennett, Brandi Purkey, Jadyn Nicholson and Colton Bennett; his great grandchild Olivia Bennett; and his sons, Bruce Potts and Rev. George Gray.
