He was predeceased by: his parents, Deward Kirby and Lula Belle Moss Kirby; and his siblings, Rayford, Raymond, Les, Neal Kirby, Maude Roper, Geneva Thacker, Mauline Adcock and Leaider Adcock.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Allison Kirby; his children, Rickey Lewis Kirby (Cindy), Susan Diane Lanier (Denmon), Connie Faye Bennett and Tina Marie Erwin (David); his grandchildren, Heather Trammell, Jennifer Derryberry, Elizabeth Brock, Dustin Wilbanks, Kim Norris and Brett Bennett; the mother of his children Mary Elizabeth Kirby; and his great grandchildren, Brett Bennett, Dustin Wilbanks, Trey Sutton, Clay Evans, Austin Trammell, Bryson Trammell and Corey Greeson. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
