He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles and Helen Lucille Trevarrow Gron; his wife Jean Carolyn Woodford Gron; his son Jerry Alan Gron; and his brother George C. Gron.
He is survived by: his son William Lee; his daughters-in-law, Trudy Gron and Lynna Gron; his grandchildren, Melanie Gron Silvers (Jeremy) and Justin Alan Gron; and his great grandchildren, Fletcher, Holden and Anderson Silvers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Calhoun First Baptist Church Building Fund, 411 College Street, Calhoun, GA 30701.
