He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Steely and Mable Williams Steely; his children, Denise Wilson and Donnie Steely; and his siblings, Carolyn Moore and Truman Steely.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Steely, Tony Steely, Ricky Steely and Jan Hewitt; his grandchildren, Solomon Nilsen, Steven Steely, Jordan Steely, Chelsea Bixby, Taylor Martin, Ann Marie Davis, Hunter Hewitt and Stephanie Hewitt; and his close friend Jack Rayburn. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rest Memorial Park Cemetery (3736 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701).
