He was predeceased by: his father Billy Jean Hill; and his brothers, Danny and Glenn Hill. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hill; his sons, Tyler Hill (Sarah) of Calhoun and Todd Hill (Denean) of Bremen; and his grandchildren, Olivia Hill, Conner Hill, Colton Hill, Caleb Hill, Macie Coker, Melody Coker, Lydia Coker and Silas Coker.
