It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Talley of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Gordon, Georgia, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Talley and Maude Massingill Talley; his siblings, Howard Talley and Ruby Whaley; and his brother-in-law Dido Whaley.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Tate Talley; his sons, Randall Talley (Connie), Rodney Talley (Sherry) and Kevin Talley (Amber); his siblings, Geneva Klotz (Don), Gwen Harris, Clayton Talley (Doris) and Kenneth Talley (Sandi); his grandchildren, Jordan, Christina Talley, Noah Talley (Diana), Brooke, Chase Green and Brianna Talley; and his sister-in-law Marie Talley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
