He was predeceased by: his parents, Fain Cleveland Lewis and Annie Irene Moss Lewis; his wife Margaret Johns Lewis; his children, Grover, Katherine and Harvey Lewis; and his siblings, Vera Stewart, Mildred Strickland, Dena Underwood, Vonnie Truitt, Irene Mooneyham, Troy, Charles, Max, Ralph, Herman and Eugene Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathie Hartley, Barbara Foster (Silas), Emma Lewis, Bonnie Jackson (Anthony), Bertha Poarch (Cameron) and Melba Hall (Jeff); his grandchildren, Caleb Hartley, Paul Foster, Jesse Foster, Titus Foster, Tabitha Foster, Naomi Foster, Joseph Foster, Silvanus Foster, Daniel, Sha Lewis, Megan, Matt Ledford, Alisha, Ben Cowan, Dakota Jackson, Siera, Aaron Patterson, Brandon Scoggins, Savannah Scoggins, Leelu, Robert Bryant and Leroy Hall; his sister Betty Whitfield; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Lou Lewis and Louise Greeson Lewis. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
