He was predeceased by: his parents, Quincy Bailey and Viola Carter Bailey; his wife Ruth Nesbitt Bailey; his siblings, Oscar Bailey, Olivia Bailey, Ann Lou Allen, Blanche King, Elizabeth Mashburn, Beulah Mae Bailey, Lelton Bailey, Noble Bailey, C. F. Bailey, Geraldine Worley, Louis Bailey, Kenneth Bailey, Marvin Bailey and Foy Bailey; and his son-in-law L. C. Falls.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Bailey Falls and Rodney Bailey (Joan); his grandchildren, Shireen Falls Howard and Jason Walden; his sister Jeanette Barnette; and his great grandchildren, Trevor Howard, Danae Howard, Kasten Walden and Arya Walden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
