She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Coker Lacey and Tama McBee Lacey; her husband James Wheat; her son Charles Wheat; her brother J. R. Lacey; her brother-in-law Huey Russell; and her aunt Lee Etta Reece.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Holsomback; her son-in-law Kenneth Holsomback of Sugar Valley; her siblings-in-law, Jean Russell of Resaca, Rita and Lewis Barrett of Woodstock; her grandchildren, Mendi Holsomback, Becky Hickman and Glenden Kelley; her great grandchildren, Laney Holsomback, Rice Holsomback, Taylor Hickman and Lacey Hickman; and her niece Jane Wheat Whittle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
