He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Poarch and Virginia Sparks Poarch; his siblings, Ricky Poarch and Carole; and his brother-in-law Buck Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Johnson Poarch; his children, Carla Poarch, Kelli Poarch Findley (Deke), Cameron Poarch (Bertha) and Christopher Lamar Poarch; his stepdaughter Sherry Pitts (Bill); his siblings, Barbara Poarch Bishop (Hillard), Deshea Poarch Heffner (Greg), Sam Poarch (Debbie) and Chuck Poarch (Kelly); and his sister-in-law Patricia Davis Poarch. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
