We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2022, at the age of 91, Ruth Janet Ellis Lunsford of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Allan Ellis and Ruth Pressley Ellis; her husband Fred Wesley Lunsford; her sisters, June Lunsford, Joyce Fant and Joanne Fitzpatrick; and her grandson John Paul Lowen.
She is survived by: her children, Wesley Lunsford, Jr. (Charla), Allan Lunsford, Sherri Woodyard (Bill), Mark Lunsford and Jan Lowen. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church at 4495 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, GA 30066.
