She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Williams and Amelia Robertson Williams; and her husband E. C. Hill. She is survived by: her daughter Regina Hill Dobson (Randy Sutherland); her grandchildren, Shane, Nakia Rice, Hillery, Stephen Williams, Mickey and DeShea Young; her great grandchildren, Aimery Anderson, Dean, Callie Rice, Jasper Williams, Noah, Kallie Williams, Parker and Meghan Young; and her sisters, Elsie Williams of Calhoun and Barbara Cornett of Hiram.
In lieu of flowers, Ruth had requested contributions be made in her honor to New Town Baptist Church.
