It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruben Michael Hasty of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Hasty and Verlin Hasty; his former wife Onedith Hasty; and his siblings, Albert Hasty (Mattie Bell), Delmus Hasty, Delbert Hasty (Bonnie), Ralph Hasty (Kathy), Lonnie Hasty (Charlotte), Wanda Frix (Charles), Imogene Dockery (Glen) and Janet Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Elda Hasty; his children, David Hasty (Cindy Walraven) and Shawnette Owens (Mike); his sister Augusta Manuel (James); his grandchildren, Jeremy Godfrey and Delisha Cole; and his great grandchildren, Holly Bohannon and Emily Bohannon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
