It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Lyles of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Helena, Alabama, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Roy Lyles, Sr. and Adel Minter Lyles; his wife Eva Holland Lyles; his son Jason Lyles; his brother Jimmy Rhodes; and his brothers-in-law, Franklin Moore and Glenn Moore.

He is survived by: his children, Tracie Sloan (Tommy) and Travis Lyles (Tina); his grandchildren, Lorna Lyles, Megan Moss, Trena Mayo and Trevor Lyles; his siblings, Becky Moore, Timmy Lyles (Diane), Anna Moore, Roger Lyles (Elaine) and Idema Strickland (Howard); his daughter-in-law Jennifer Lyles; and his sister-in-law Becky Rhodes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
