It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ross Wilburn Jr. (Calhoun, Georgia), born in Decatur, Georgia, who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ross Wilburn, Sr. and Catherine Carson Wilburn; and his brothers, Joe and Tommy Wilburn. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Bellmer Wilburn; his children, Walter Ross Wilburn III (Sue), Merrilyl Calfee (John) and Chris Wilburn (Kelly); his sister Catherine Carter; and his grandchildren, Zach Wilburn, Walter Wilburn IV, Josie Wilburn, Arlene Wilburn, Ashley Calfee, Amanda Calfee, Avery Wilburn, Jack Wilburn and Lucy Wilburn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church mission fund or the Voluntary Action Center.
