He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Parker; and his son Rembert Doug Parker. He is survived by: his sons, Kelly Parker of Plains and Larry Lee Harkins Jr. of Americus; and his nephew Randell Parker of Calhoun. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
