He is survived by: his wife Patsy Smith; his son Richard II; his daughter-in-law Wendy Phillips of Dalton; his daughter Julie Brackett of Dalton; his stepson Justin Smith; his siblings, Darlene Morrison of Dalton and Danny; his sister-in-law Judy Phillips of Dalton; his grandchildren, Katie Brown (Tanyon), Paige Brackett, Hayley Phillips Santonastaso (Chaz), Carson Phillips, Wes Bolden (Mallory), Brody Bolden, Gage Smith, Lily Smith and Elliot Smith; his great grandchildren, Maggie Mae Brown and Layla Jane Bolden; and the mother of his children Marti Phillips. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
