He was predeceased by: his wife Eddie Jo Pullum; his sisters, Leola Pullum, Vonnie Mann and Ruth Curtis; and his stepdaughter Katie Belle Dixon.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammie Simpson of Calhoun, Georgia; his stepdaughter Linda Diane Kellogg; his grandchildren, Rickey Simpson, Jr. (Valerie), Francesca Morrow (Billy), Joseph Simpson, Taylor Simpson, Michael Winters (Ashley), Michaela Winters, Ansley Howell, Mason Winters, Summer Matthews, Meagen Quarles (Tim), Greg Matthews (Melody), Kashae Simpson, Kendall Simpson, Railyn Simpson and Kendric Simpson; and his close friend Linda Parker. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
