He was predeceased by: his parents, Coley Brookshire and Gloria Brookshire; his son-in-law Lee Springfield; and his nephew Chad Brookshire. He is survived by: his wife Karin Brookshire; his daughters, Gloria Springfield, Cynthia Brookshire (T. J. Ezell) and Katie Brookshire; his grandchildren, Walker Brookshire, Kendall Springfield and Madison Springfield; and his siblings, Cindi Blalock (Donald), Teresa Baxter (James) and Coley Brookshire. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
