It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Sheriff of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Maplesville, Alabama, who passed away on May 29, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard James and Annie Odessa Johnson Gay; her siblings, Donald, Phillip Gay and Earline Gregg; and her sister-in-law Faye Gay.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna (Tim Hightower) and Sandra (Jerry McCarter); her sister Laura; her brothers-in-law, Earl Griffin and Billy Gregg; her close friend Bob Pack; her grandchildren, Holly and Brian Vandagriff; and her great grandchild Emma Vandagriff. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Peggy's family requests that instead flowers, memorials be made to The American Cancer Society, cancer.org/donate.
