She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldridge Simpson and Estelle Simpson; her husband Richard Arlen Cook; her son Ricky A. Cook; and her siblings, John Williams Simpson, James Allen Simpson, Daisy Dean Simpson and Leona (John A. Barrett).
She is survived by: her grandsons, Richard A. Cook (Christian Riley) and Colby T. Cook (Amy); her daughter-in-law Terysa Redwine; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Simpson and Polly Simpson; and her great grandchildren, Emersyn and Grayson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Echota Baptist Church (35 College Cir, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
