With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nell Bearden (Calhoun, Georgia), born in Armuchee, Georgia, who passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Broom Sr. and Mary Beatrice Pierce Broom; her husband Lon Sidney Bearden; and her brothers, Robert Broom and Tommy Broom.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy B. Cochran of Rome and Lonnie Dale Bearden (Donna); her grandchildren, Mana S. Harris (Rickey) and Jake R. Silvers (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Brynleigh, S. Harris, Tripp Harris, Eva D. Harris, Nora Kate Harris and Javyn Lon Silvers; and her siblings, Sharon Broom Edwards (Larry), Mary Puckett (Henry), Joyce A. Broom, Charles Broom (Jean) and James Allen Broom (Kathy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
