He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Johnson Dye, Sr. and Marion Elvera "Vera" Johnson Dye; his daughter Joann Dye; and his siblings, Mary Jenkins and Stephen Dye.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his sons, Clarke Dye (Felicia) of Elberton and Bobby Bell (Tina) of Bogart; his grandchildren, McKenzie, Stephen, Brayden and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Herbert Dye, Jr. of Abbeville, SC, Eugenia Willis of Elberton and Elaine Goss of Douglasville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Due to COVID-19, a private funeral services will be held in the Berry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating.
