He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Kirby and Edna Kirby; his brother Jim Kirby; and his grandson Blaze Kirby. He is survived by: his children, Jasper Kirby (Shandi), Josh Kirby (Ashley) and Yvonne Kirby; his brothers, Mark Kirby and Tim Kirby (Joy); his grandchildren, Trista Kirby (Chris), Sylvia Kirby, Analilia Kirby, Avery Kirby, Easton Kirby, Amberle Kirby, Telicia McNabb, Josiah McNabb and Ashton Broome; and his great grandchildren, Luna Hollis, Liam Hollis and Delilah Hollis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Evangelistic Outreach Ministries.
