He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Looney and Nora Looney; and his sisters, Jean Leverette, Delinda Bierman and Anita Ivester.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Eloise Looney of Calhoun; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Lisa Looney of Lawrenceville; and his grandchildren, Robert Looney and Rachel Looney.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holly Creek Baptist Church: 422 Holly Creek Cool Springs Rd, Chatsworth, GA 30705.
