He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Franklin Knight and Alice Fuller Knight. He is survived by: his wife Edith Knight; his son Jeff Knight (Jana); his grandsons, John Solomon, Eli, Jaxx and Jebb Knight; his siblings, Alfred, Mabeline Knight, Shirlene Smith, Maxine McBee, Linda, Billy Brown, Betty Bolen, Janie and Steve Thomas; his sister-in-law Tina McClure; and his niece Lisa Hice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
