It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maynard L. Thomas (Calhoun, Georgia), born in Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on October 4, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Marvin Thomas and Elsie Buleah Hardin; and his siblings, Danny Ray Thomas, Eddie Dean Thomas and Nancy Helton.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Nix Thomas; his children, Larry Thomas (Judy), Roger Thomas, Angie Mattila (Donny) and Michelle Thomas; his grandchildren, Larry Thomas, Jr., Cassie Bell (Drew), Roger Thomas, Jr. (Crystal), Haley White, Morgan White, Josh Matilla, Hunter White, Mason Matilla and Presley Gross; his sisters, Carolyn Andrews, Barbra Goins, Phyllis Castello and Vickie Baker; and his close friend Skimpy. He is also survived by six great-grand children and several nieces and nephews.
