With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Frances Higgins of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John David Smith and Opal Greeson Smith; her husband C. M. Higgins; her son Len Shadrick; and her siblings, Charles, Bobby, Joe, Rickey Smith and Betty Smith Mulkey.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Sue Patton, Charlotte Higgins and David Shadrick (Isabel); her grandchildren, Shelley Franks, Mark Stanley Jr., Justin Stanley (Sandee) and Shane Patton Sr.; her great grandchildren, Lakelee Stanley, Emberlynn Phipps, Shane Patton Jr., Guage Franks, Matthew Massingill, Skylar Stanley and Owen Hamilton; and her great great grandchild Waylon Massingill.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (3742 Sugar Valley Rd NW, Sugar Valley, GA 30746). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
