She was predeceased by: her spouses, Charles'Lindy'Worley, Sr. and Lindy; her son-in-law Barry; her parents, Sidney Ray, Sr. and Oweda Roberson DeWitt; her great great grandchild Lainey White; and her siblings, William DeWitt, Fannie Blanchett, Sidney DeWitt, Jr., George DeWitt and Darcus Little.
She is survived by: her daughter Marianne Whitmire (Ronny); her grandchildren, Wendy Whitmire and Kelly Whiting (Jared); her great grandchildren, Lacie, Trevor and August; her son Charles Lindy Worley, Jr. (Lisa); her grandchildren, Chrissy House, Brittany Wilkes, Samantha Cornell (Michael) and Cale Worley; her great grandchildren, Karson, Tyler, Grady, Acadia and Owen; her daughter Janet Wilder (Allen); her grandchildren, Forrest Wilder (Courtney) and MacKenzie White (Wes); her great grandchildren, Lindy, Tripp, Alandra, Avery, Aubrey, Atalie and Ashlyn; her daughter Joyce Dye (late Barry Dye); her grandchildren, Ansley Dye and Sydney Walters (Thomas); her great grandchildren, Peter and Jacob; her sister Loretta Garrett of Elberton; her friend James Henry Heard; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Worley. She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at the Forest Hills Memorial Park (1642 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635).
