It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Lee Taylor of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Plainville, Georgia, who passed away on July 13, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Eva Cowart Taylor Durham; his brothers, Thermon, Wilmer, Doyle and Ronald Taylor; and his son Stanley Marvin Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Elizabeth Holcomb Taylor; his daughter Sharman Taylor Czahor (Tim); his daughter-in-law Pam Mathis Taylor; his grandchildren, Shannan Lee Stanfield Miles, Stanley "Lee" Taylor and Kristen Taylor Davison (Josh); his great grandchildren, Jordan Stephens (Samantha), Chandler Stephens, Taylor Stephens (Taylor), Sydney Summers and Brayla Taylor; his great great grandchildren, McKenna Lee Stephens, Kayson Taylor Stephens, Matthew Jordan Stephens and Baylee Jane Stephens; his sister Opal Arlene Carden; and his sister-in-law Patsy Holcomb. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
