It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella Cochran (Calhoun, Georgia), born in Gordon, Georgia, who passed away on April 7, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Goldie Brannon; and her siblings, Annie Bell Burchett, Adell Mulkey, Netta Fay Thatcher, Dee Brannon and Billy Brannon.

She is survived by: her parent Belle Gilbert Brannon; her husband Don A. Cochran of Calhoun; her children, Janet Cochran Silvers of Calhoun, David Cochran (Kate), Chris Cochran (Carol) and Eric Cochran (Tracy); her grandchildren, Amy Holland, Cassie Cochran, Leah Goforth, Tad, Tyler, Nick, Neal Cochran, Corey Cochran, Timothy Cooper, Derek Cooper and Thomas Gray; and her siblings, Ella Ivester of East Ridge and Max Brannon of Calhoun. She is also survived by her children and she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made to New Town Baptist Church.
