It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabelene Holbrook of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Shannon, Georgia, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Baxter Stanley and Addie Lou Carroll Stanley; her siblings, Martha Roberts, Learnie Dodd, Daffie Faulkenberry, Wincie Raines, Willie Mae Hazelwood, Baxter Stanley, Virgil Stanley and Bowen "Bo" Stanley; and her former husband James H. Kirby.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberley Holbrook Anderson of Alpharetta; her grandsons, Samuel Anderson and Joel Anderson; her siblings, Mossie Couey, Buford Charlie Stanley and Benny Stanley (Louise); and her sister-in-law Lee Stanley.
To attend the visitation and funeral service, a face covering will be required and social distancing guidelines will be observed.
